Happy New Year!

No resolutions for me this year. I just plan to focus on God's promises to me. Those will never be broken. I do wish that people will come into the knowledge of Jesus and make him lord of their lives. We are living in peril times and we really need to get it together before the Savior returns. I pray that I myself will be a shining light in a dark world so that people will see Christ in me and know that he is real. I hope that everyone had a merry christmas and remembered that Jesus was the reason for the season. Hope for good things in 2011 and believe that God will never leave you nor forsake you just like his word says. Happy New Year everyone and may God bless you all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! May God bless everyone and may everyone count their blessings. I am thankful for another chance to get my soul right with the Lord. I am thankful for Jesus' sacrifice for my filthy sins. I am thankful for my family and for the opportunity to be able to share a good meal with them. I am thankful for being able to have food to put on my table because I realize that there are many others who are unable to do so. Thank you Jesus for the many blessings that you have bestowed upon me!

Christian Bakery Being Sued

Owners of a chrisitian bakery have a law suit filed against them for denying a gay couple a wedding cake. The couple of course is crying discrimination and that their first amendment right is being abused. How ridiculous! This is a private owned business and has nothing to do with the government and the first amendment. There was no discrimination here whatsoever. Being a christian means believing in Christ and following his example. Do you think Jesus would've made them a cake? I don't think so. People really need to check themselves. I believe this couple was trying to be offended because why would you specifically go to a christian bakery and make such an asinine request? They knew what they were doing. They were looking for conflict and trying to prove a point. Well, I am believing that God will sustain this little business and bring more customers to it and have the suit denied to the offended couple. For this to even be considered in court is just ridiculous. When is the government going to protect the christians' rights?

To Abort or Not to Abort? That is the Question.

This couple, Pete and Alisha Arnold , ought to be ashamed of themselves. They are getting people's opinion from online about whether or not they should abort their baby. What?!?!!! This is sick! I am really trying to hold back on language right now (God help me) but this really gets under my skin. Now of course I don't even know why this is a topic of discussion between the two of them (because I disagree with abortion) let alone the public. Why would anyone debate this on the web? This is not a game. She is carrying a human life in her. It's not like you can't make your mind up about wanting to throw away a pair of shoes or not. Alisha is already four months pregnant and received ultrasound photos of her baby. Now that is the most appalling to me. After seeing my baby's ultrasound I immediately fell in love with her. I don't know how any mother can see their baby live in action and still consider abortion. They are setting a deadline of December 7 to make the final decision. If they do decide to keep the baby, which I pray to God that they do, I hope they put the child up for adoption because what kind of life is this kid going to live knowing that his/her parents became public figures over deciding whether or not to kill their baby.

Satanic Manifestation

I just came across an article about a recent satanic manifestation in a Trinidadian school. There were several students, all of whom were young ladies, who were acting strangely, speaking in foreign tongues, being thrown around, and had their eyes rolling into the back of their heads. I could not believe the devil would be so bold as to do something like this in such a public setting. But these are the last days and sadly there will be similar events to occur. Nearby priests arrived at the school and started showering Holy water over the seventeen girls. One male student said that he spoke to the devil in one possessed girl and asked what he wanted. To which the demon responded that he wanted a life. He told the young male to send the girls to the toilet and leave them alone. Wow! This is crazy. I just pray that the Lord's will is done in this situation and that many will be saved after witnessing this. I also pray that the girls will have complete deliverance and seek a relationship with Christ. Be Be Winans Needs Howard Stern to validate him?

This is a little late but Be Be Winans, a well known gospel recording artist, was on the Howard Stern show seeking promotion for his own radio show. How ridiculous! Howard Stern? Are you serious? Does he not trust in God to bring him to where he needs to be? This is sad because we as Christians should not be seeking approval or validation of any sort from the secular world. The Word of God approves of us already. I just really don't understand his rationale. There is nothing Christ-like about Howard Stern. His actions clearly spoke "God I don't trust you to do what you said you would do". This just speaks volumes of how he was all about promotion of self. "The Be Be Experience" as the show is called, is about playing his current and favorite songs and occasionally having guest speakers from the entertainment industry.

Gay Churches

There is a new trend with gay people founding their own churches for affirmation that they are not getting from "TRUE" churches of Christ. Boy what is the world coming to? The pastor of the church says it's just like any other church with preaching, shouting, and speaking in tongues. He says it's like they are running on hot coals when shouting and dancing. Well I have to agree with him on that because they are most certainly running on "HOT" coals and they are speaking tongues of the devil. This place and any like it is not annointed by the Holy Spirit. People please wake up! You cannot choose to believe some parts of the bible and not others just because it doesn't fit your lifestyle. The bible clearly states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals), Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rutgers Suicide

Rutgers University student, Tyler Clementi, committed suicide this week. He jumped off of the George Washington bridge and into the Hudson River. Tyler suffered from complete humiliation after his roomate video taped him and his gay lover making out and posted it on the internet. How horrible! People come on now. When are we gonna learn to grow up and start thinking about our actions and how they affect others? The actions of this roomate were very immature. He violated this boy's privacy and his trust. I wonder how he feels now knowing that he caused someone's death. The school is being investigated due to allegations that the incident was reported and nothing was done about it. If you ever see someone in need please reach out to that person. You never know what impact you may have on his/her life. It was obvious he lost all hope after noone did anything to help him. And whether than suffer the ridicule from his peers, he decided to end it. If only he had known Jesus. Let this be a lesson to us all. This boy was most likely harrassed for being gay. Especially after the posting of the video. I'm sure there were others who watched and didn't say anything, but what good is that? Just because you aren't the bully doesn't excuse you from saying anything. Please, whether you agree with a persons lifestyle or not remember that God created us all and Satan wants to destroy us all;if the opportunity is presented to you to help someone then take it. Remember we are all souls in need of saving. May God bless the Clementi family and others in mourning over similar incidences.

Walk on the Water

Recently my sister sent me a video link via youtube by Britt Nicole. She is a young gospel artist and in this video she explains her song "walk on the water". She talks about how we should step out in faith even if we are afraid and keep our eyes on Jesus. Just as Peter did when he stepped out of the boat and walked on water. Healing Prayers for Cancer Patients

Father I am quoting back to you Exodus 15:26. Lord, you declared that "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee." Father, I am doing my best in obeying your commandment by grace, help me to trust you for healing. God remove this disease from me I pray in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Father, You say in Your Word that healing is the Children's bread. I desire this bread in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Let these healing Prayers not be in vain in Jesus Mighty Name,Amen.

Friends,Men may give up, doctors may give up BUT God never gives up on anyone.We read in the bible of a man called Lazarus, dead four days and according to the sister "stinking" BUT Jesus never gave up on Him.Father, we pray that you touch every cancer patient, heal them or grant them sufficient grace to make it through. What an OUTRAGE!!!!

If you ever questioned whether Satan and his demons are real then look no further. These two men were certainly operating under demonic influences when they kidnapped, raped and murdered a mother and her two daughters in Connecticut. The horror of this crime is unbelievable. Evil is real people! Satan is real! How else can human beings behave in such a manner? Humans are made to love one another, and to be heartless towards another human being is upsetting to our Lord. These two men beat the husband/father to a pulp, tied him up and raped his 11 year old daughter and murdered her. The wife and other daughter was murdered as well (unsure if they were raped). The husband/father was able to escape before the house was set on fire. Doctors were surprised he survived because of the huge amount of blood he'd lost. So much so that he needed a blood transfusion. I cannot imagine what this man is going through. Please pray for him. I have been ever since I found this out. This really saddens me that people can be so cruel. But I know the source of this evil is coming from non other than the devil himself. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12 KJV. The Right Perspective

The other day I was watching Joel Osteen give a message on how we view things versus how we should view things. I really learned a lot from it. We all know that we can have a really bad attitude about things going on in our life. We should take a look at ourselves and ask WWJD?. I believe we miss out on so much in life because of our negative attitudes. Instead of complaining about how much you hate your job, try and be thankful that you have one. We have to start dwelling on our blessings and not what we don't have or what we wish we had. If you feel you deserve a promotion at work stop complaining about it. It isn't going to change anything. Why not go to work everyday with a positive attitude, do your job to the best of your ability and believe God will give you favor with your supervisor so that you will receive a promotion. Start speaking good things into existence. If you complain you will remain, if you praise you will be raised.

Neighbors From Hell?!

For those of you who don't know it, there is a new television cartoon on TBS called "Neighbors From Hell". It is about a family of demons sent to earth by Satan to destroy a drill that the humans possess that can expose hell. I am absolutely outraged at how such a display of evil can be openly displayed on tv as if hell is a place to joke around with. We truly are in the last days. Satan is really running wild now trying to deceive and destroy humanity. The show displays one of the demons as "FRIENDLY"?, and the website has games for you to play to release your inner demon. Things of this sort are tactics used by the enemy to seem like harmless fun so we can unkowingly open doorways in our lives for demons to play. People protect your household and cover it with the blood of Jesus.

Divine Revelation of Hell

I just finished reading Mary K. Baxter's book 'Divine Revelation of Hell'. It recalls her account with the Savior Himself going through the depths of hell. He reveals things to her about the end times and how lost souls will endure are enduring the torments of hell. If you've ever had any doubts about this place I would suggest you read this book with an open heart and ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins and give your life to Him. I will be reading some of her other books and giving a review of those as well. God bless you all!

The Shack

William Young’s “The Shack” is by far the most exhilarating book I’ve ever read. It has transformed me in ways I can’t even explain. The book is about a man who experiences a horrible tragedy in his life that leaves him full of sorrow. Years go by and he just can’t seem to cope with what he calls, The Great Sadness. At least until he comes face to face with God, Jesus, and the Holy spirit to confront his pain.
People I am telling you that when you read this book it will have you longing for the presence of God. It impacted me so much that I decided to blog about it and share it with others. If you haven’t read this book, I definitely encourage you to do so. There are some negative reviews about it and if you’ve read or heard some of them don’t let that discourage you from reading it. I believe that’s just one of Satan’s tactics to keep people from seeking truth (Jesus). Before reading, I prayed and asked God that if this book was divinely inspired to reveal it to me and that if it wasn’t to reveal it to me as well. Obviously I felt nothing but the spirit of God while reading and longed for Him even more after reading it. It is certainly a page turner and now I see God in a whole new light. I am definitely going to read it again.

Hidden Identity

In order to know yourself you must know Him. Since the fall in the garden, mankind has experienced a massive identity crisis. We struggle to figure out who we are and we tend to measure it by earthly means. Only to find that this does not complete us. Once we have obtained our earthly successes we tend to continue to feel like something is missing. That something or rather someone is Jesus. The bible states that we need to know who we are in Christ Jesus. "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now Hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." Colossians 3:2-4
