The Right Perspective
The other day I was watching Joel Osteen give a message on how we view things versus how we should view things. I really learned a lot from it. We all know that we can have a really bad attitude about things going on in our life. We should take a look at ourselves and ask WWJD?. I believe we miss out on so much in life because of our negative attitudes. Instead of complaining about how much you hate your job, try and be thankful that you have one. We have to start dwelling on our blessings and not what we don't have or what we wish we had. If you feel you deserve a promotion at work stop complaining about it. It isn't going to change anything. Why not go to work everyday with a positive attitude, do your job to the best of your ability and believe God will give you favor with your supervisor so that you will receive a promotion. Start speaking good things into existence. If you complain you will remain, if you praise you will be raised.

Very good! This is definitely a timeless message, as with the rest of God's Word, that needs to be constantly reinforced. I surely needed to hear this!...I actually "stumbled" across Shekinah Glory's song, "Praise Is What I do", the other day. Regretfully, I forgot all about this song; but, God reminded me of the power that's in that song, of how our "praise outweighs the bad". So, I know that this (your blog) is definitely confirmation from God. I love you and keep up the good work! May God bless you for being such a blessing=)...And I like that "saying" that's at the end; Joel's always using catchy phrases=P
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. It is my desire to be a blessing to as many people as possible. I am praying that God will annoint this blog so that others will get encouragement and the love of God out of it...I like that phrase too.
ReplyDeleteSurely you have me as an ACTIVE participant!=) I'm proud of you!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, being positive is important. We often have to be reminded. That is why it is good to have good spiritual friends around. Satan is always tampering with your mind. That is why Paul said "Pray without ceasing."
